I watched New Moon today...again!

I can't say there is a Twilight vs. New Moon matter at all...i just want to compare the two movies. In my opinion, the first significant difference comes from the fact that the directors of the movies are two different people. Both the directors put their own style of movie-making into the movies and i think it definitely shows. I feel that Catherine Hardwicke (the director of Twilight) has better ability to capture and recreate the story just the way Stephenie Meyer wrote it because she is a woman too. Not that i underestimate man directors, it's just that here the story was written by a woman and a woman director seems like the natural choice. Catherine also picked an amazing cast for her movie which, of course, gave a great head-start to the second one and the upcoming parts. I also felt, now that i've seen New moon, that in Twilight the scenes were smoothly transitioning into one another...which is not something i could say for New moon the first time i saw it. Now that i've seen it twice, i could say it gets better. As for the choice of soundtracks...well, Twilight wins the price!

In my opinion he put his effort mostly in the action scenes and the effects which is great because the story's practically begging for it :) I really liked the way the werewolves were made...simply perfect! Maybe, i liked Jacob's acting the most. He is a natural at it. However, i feel there was a downgrade in Bella and Edward's acting. In some part they were amazing, but in others they were over-doing it. In my opinion it is the director's job to point those mistakes to the actors and correct them when necessary. I know this is how Catherine would've done it if she was still the director of the movie, because i've read the "Twilight director's notebook" and i've seen how she has a clear vision of exactly how she wants the actors to play a certain part, and she doesn't quit until it happens her way :) By the way i recommend this book. It's really nice to sneak behind the scenes.

Welcome inside my vampire diary :)

Hey, all you vampire lovers! :)

First of all, let me just say that I'm new to this whole Blogger world but at this point it doesn't seem like such a bad idea :) I just finished watching Twilight for the 100 000th time and since i saw New Moon couple of days ago i couldn't help but compare both movies. So, i came to the point where i really wanted to hear other people's opinion. Yes, i know there are millions of other sites and forums where i can just log in and read about it, but somehow i wanted to have my own, private space where i can share info, opinion, sexy photos of Edward (xaxaxax joking! :D) and not only Twilight stuff, but also everything there is to know, talk or see about vampires.

The reason why i started talking about Twilight first, is because this is how it all started for me.

I was really in a bad period in my life when i saw the movie for the first time. As a matter of fact, i didn't even want to see it in the first place because i thought it was a scary movie, and i wasn't in the mood for scary movies. anyway, my friends wanted to see it so we started watching... For the time that the movie was going on i forgot about all the bad things that were on my mind. So i thought that if everything about it makes me calm and...better i have to go in that direction. And this is how it became like a drug to me :D. The next thing i know, i was in the local library buying the books. After i read all of them, i wanted to know more about the world of vampires and i started reading other books about them, information that i could get my hands on to, of course i watched a lot of movies and so on...

So, basically this is how it all started for me :) I'm really happy that i finally have a journal where i can write whatever i want about my favorite vampires and hopefully get you to write in my diary.
